Manchester City FC Is Successful Because Of Good Management Not Expensive Players

Manchester City spent a lot of money under the Mark Hughes era and the club battled to make good results. If money was all required to for good results, Manchester City would have walked away with titles due to the money invested.
Many see the £28 million capture of Wired Bony from Swansea as another step in buying the titles. Does anyone remember Fernando Torres? His hefty prise tag he came with to Chelsea suppose to guarantee a flood of goals but he flopped. This was because money does not guarantee success but good management.
Last season, the players of Manchester City played some breathtaking piece of football and scored amazing goals. The management and the team worked hard to achieve this. This lead to the Capital one Cup and English premier league triumph. It was not a team of Super Stars strolling to the title. It took zeal, determination and motivation to archive this. They were trials on the way, like Martin Demichelis battling fitness issues and getting accustomed to the English Premier League.
The heroic performance of Demichelis when Man City was a man down to Hull City was another impressive performance by a determined player, managed and instructed to perform in tough conditions.
There was a time in recent years, Real Madrid had a galaxy of Super stars and could not win the champions league. Recently, they are doing well because of the impressive management of the team and not just spending money.
Manchester City FC plays an impressive brand of attacking football. No doubt, we have good players but the brand of football helps these players play at a very high standard. It takes hard work to achieve these fit.
A club can spend money to buy top class players. That does not mean that they will perform to their best ability. It takes training and the right set up to flourish. That is where Manchester City FC does not get the credits they deserve.
