Sacking Coach Pellegrini Is Not The Answer

Coach Pellegrini did a lot for Manchester City in his first season. Let us get one thing straight. Liverpool did not the title to Manchester City. Sooner or later, Liverpool were going to slip. Why was Manchester City's loss to Crystal Palace not written as a gift?

It took Coach Pellegrini hardwork to get the team playing some of the best brand of football the club ever played.

We won the English Premier League and the Capital One Cup. That showed we have a good coach in our hands. We had some memorable games like the game we won Hull City woth a man down early in the game.
I will be first to admit that I feel we made mistakes in the transfer market. I am not saying I do not like the signings. Especially, Mangala and Fernando. However, I felt this was a good chance to introduce our going talents like Guidetti, Lopes, Iheanacho, Rekik, Zuculini etc. I thought that was the idea of bringing in a coach with his quality.

Coach Pellegrini developed going talents like Giuseppe Rossi and Isco. He can bring out the best in young talents. Instead, we spent millions buying players. We made the buys. We cannot afford the same mistakes.

Coach Pellegrini needs time and support. News flying around of him getting sacked is not good for the team. The management needs to announce and end the rumors. The management should end any negotiation (If any is going on) with Simeone or whoever.

The team is great. The pattern of football is lovely. There are just some loose ends that need fixing. Changing the system will not do the team good. That will be destroying the building to start again.

Coach Pellegrini will get us there if only he is given time.
